Have you ever worried that your relationship is not protected?
Have you ever feared coming out to an insurance agent who doesn’t understand you?
Same-sex couples lack protection
Many fear that if they or their partner pass away, the surviving partner will be left without financial or life security due to the lack of legal recognition.
Different family choices are not respected
Those who choose to remain single or regard pets as family are often overlooked under traditional family constructs.
Lack of sensitivity in services
Many insurance or financial planning practitioners lack the knowledge to serve diverse communities and family structures, leaving people feeling unsafe about sharing their privacy and future plans.
In Hong Kong, people from diverse communities and different family structures have long faced misunderstanding and discrimination:
Lifelong autonomy and protection should never be absent due to one’s sexual orientation or identity—everyone deserves the peace of mind to plan their life and future.
Our new-to-industry recruitment program seeks to train agents from finance to every way of life. Chubb Institute allows you to become one of our trusted agents by earning “Every Way of Life” skills — representing our values of community and excellence in action.
